Shambhu Tech ("we," "us," or "our") operates Slidefy: AI PPT Maker ("Slidefy" or "the app"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

If you choose to sign in with your Google account, we receive a unique account identifier and basic profile information you make available, such as your email address and display name. You can also use Slidefy as a guest without signing in.

Presentation Content

Presentations you create are stored locally on your device. We do not upload your slide content to our servers unless you use a feature that requires server-side processing, such as an AI-assisted generation feature.

Usage and Entitlement Data

To manage accounts, subscriptions, credits, and usage limits, our servers store information such as:

• Your account identifier
• Pro/subscription status, credit balance, and daily usage quotas
• Purchase verification records and ad-reward completion records
• Timestamps associated with quota and credit activity

We use this information to enforce plan limits, help prevent fraud and abuse, and restore eligible purchases or entitlements if you reinstall the app or switch devices.

AI Processing

When you request AI-generated content, your prompt and relevant layout request may be sent to our servers. Our servers may then send the necessary information to a third-party AI model provider to generate the requested content.

Depending on the AI service and service tier being used, prompts may be subject to that provider's data-use policies and may be used to improve its models. Where available, data-protected paid tiers may provide options that avoid such use. Please review the applicable AI provider's privacy terms for details.

Some generated outlines may include short extracts sourced from Wikipedia under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license. Attribution may be included in generated content where applicable.

Advertising

Slidefy uses a third-party advertising network to provide optional rewarded video ads on the free plan. The advertising network may collect device identifiers and information about ad interactions as part of standard ad delivery.

Watching a rewarded ad by itself does not unlock content. Reward eligibility is granted only after our servers verify completion of the applicable ad interaction.

Analytics and Crash Data

We use standard mobile analytics and crash-reporting tools to help diagnose bugs, improve stability, and understand how Slidefy is used. We do not sell your personal data.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve Slidefy's features
• Verify in-app purchases and restore eligible entitlements
• Enforce free-plan limits, credits, and usage quotas
• Prevent abuse and fraud, including through rate limiting and integrity checks
• Comply with applicable laws and legal obligations

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable, we process information based on the performance of a contract with you (such as providing the app and its features), our legitimate interests (such as security and fraud prevention), and your consent where consent is required, including for certain advertising activities in applicable regions.

5. Sharing of Information

We share information with service providers that help us operate Slidefy, including providers involved in sign-in, purchase verification, advertising, AI processing, analytics, crash reporting, and secure server hosting.

Each provider receives information reasonably necessary to perform its service and is subject to its own privacy and security obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain account, entitlement, and purchase records for as long as your account remains active, subject to applicable legal or operational requirements.

7. Security

Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS. Entitlements are also verified server-side to help prevent tampering and unauthorized use.

While we take reasonable measures to protect information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

Slidefy is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate, including the United States and India.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
